Fig's Face

Fig has some things she needs to talk to you about.

Right. My turn. It happened, I couldn't stand it any more so I wiped her old chipped, dirty face off and redid it the other night. I also sanded her eyelids, it's a really minimal mod, basically I wanted to get rid of that odd lid fold that starts halfway across the eye on the Ante sculpt. It's always annoyed me because the paint always seeps into the crease when I do eye-liner. So I got rid of it and put my own eyelid crease in.

Other big changes for her face are the eyebrows. She always had weird brows because she was one of the first faceups I ever did and back then I wasn't sure what I was doing o.O No more backward brows, though  she did end up looking more doe-eyed and innocent than before. Aside from the brows I tried to keep her looking Figgy, but of course I'm not a machine and each of my faceups are 100% OOAK so I can never exactly replicate the same face twice.

As you can see we've decided to put the green blind eyes away, I'm waiting on some glass eyes that will hopefully be the right colour and size. These are Miette's old eyes, Miette got upgraded to Blake's old eyes. We like to play musical eyeballs in this house.

Future changes might include a new wig and some horns. I'm not sure about the wig, it's a fibre Monique wig, in a slightly shorter bobbed style. I ordered it yesterday on a whim. It might be too much of a change, her hair is very expressive, so I guess we'll see. The horns are adorable though. I'm really looking forward to those. Philbert is less enthused as he quite enjoys his spot on her head and isn't excited at the prospect of riding on her butt magnet.
